Meet the Writers

Jason Carlton

Jason Carlton is the pastor of Memorial Baptist Church in De Queen, AR. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master’s degree in Bible Languages from the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock. He enjoys running, reading, nature, and is an avid photographer. He and his wife Melanie have two daughters, Riley Catherine and Amelia Elizabeth.




Daniel Clark

Bro. Daniel Clark is the Pastor of El Dorado Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR. He, his wife Tiffany, and their son Holden, have lived and served there since 2015. He has served the Lord in the Ministry since 2000 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Southern Arkansas University and a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Theology from Louisiana Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary. Bro. Daniel has gladly served as a public school music teacher and a music director for the National ABA meetings.


Patricia Richey

Patricia Richey wrote the theme-based lessons that are included with each quarterly as a bonus lesson. She is a full-time professor at Jacksonville College–the only two-year independent college in Texas. She is also an adjunct instructor at LeTourneau University. Patricia holds several degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University. She received her doctorate in supervision, curriculum, and instruction from Texas A&M-Commerce. Patricia and her husband, Nolan Richey, live in Omaha, Texas where he serves as pastor of Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Patricia is involved in the music ministry and women's ministry. They have three sons, three daughters-by-love, and six grandchildren. Patricia enjoys reading, sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking, and investing time with her family.
